Thanks! I'll be installing this soon on a JFL92 and it's nice to have these links.
-
You forgot Broadcom Bluetooth drivers. http://www.broadcom.com/support/bluetooth/update.php
Nice though. Thanks -
FT02 have 3 mini-pcie places, one is the intel wriless agn4965agn -
Aah, OK. My bad.

Thanks for the links -- I've installed Win7 Home Premium x64 and it appears to work better than Vista so far (boot time is noticeably shorter and a few things feel snappier).
Only a couple of minor nuisances: the Wireless Select Switch is being weird -- I cannot view the Options for it and it claims wireless and bluetooth are disabled when they're clearly enabled. I never used it under Vista so that's not really a great loss. Also, there is still exactly 1 Unknown Device and I haven't the slightest idea what that is; the only things that come to mind are those Compal Wow Audio/Video buttons, but I've never used them either (they don't work with Nvidia's drivers and I'm not going back to 167.59 for their sake). -
To get the wireless select switch to work download the driver here:
http://www.rapidspread.com/file.jsp?id=n0bjjbfljl
Then go to device manager, there should be a unknown device click search your computer for driver, select the driver you just downloaded and install.
May have to reinstall wireless select swwitch and restart but this should fix your problem.
Hpoe this helps it took me ages to work out how to fix it

I have installed Win7 Home Premium 32 bit (without changing anything such as drivers) and I can actually get online wirelessly.
I have the Pro-star IFL90 and when I called Prostar support (before my installation) the support guy said they did NOT have Win7 drivers for it... but it appears that the Win7 DVD had at least the wireless driver.
I do not know much about drivers really and I want to make sure I do not install the wrong onesDoes anyone know where there is a list that has all of the current latest/greatest Win7 Home premium 32 bit drivers for the IFL90?
Also, if I have a device (such as the wireless) that is working, how do I know which driver to use (Win7 DVD vs. any other drivers a list may suggest)?
Thanks in adavance. -
You can check which device you have in the Device Manager or you can DL Everest and check...
Yes, W7 has inbuilt wireless drivers and works very good... In fact it has a lot of drivers that is one of the reason why it's so big... There is no support for W7 for IFL90. All Vista drivers should work though. -
Hi,
thanks for this awesome description slan. I just found it while I was making my own one
Just two points:
1) You could add the Intel Turbo Memory Drivers: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=13232&ProdId=2793&lang=eng
and maybe the WoW Audio/Video Drivers.
2) On my Driver CD there have been Elantech Drivers for the Touchpad. Why did you choose the ones from Synaptics? -
I had a hard time finding the windows 7 drivers for the Wireless Select Switch for my IFL90 so here they are in a neat package. Hopefully it will help someone in need
Thank you all for this great forum!

i read previous posts that WoW Audio/Video Drivers dont work on Windows 7. is there still no way. i was using them
Or i have to find a program which stores 2-3 brigtness levels. i use it when i read -
where can i download "compal embedded system control driver" thanks...
-
That's the smart battery - try googling for " driver smart battery compal"
Good luck! -
ok. i thougt i need it to install drivers. Thanks.
-
You do, if you want it to be gone from device manager - but when installing the smart battery application, the drivers are installed as well.
But I am not sure if this thing is working for me on Win7, I never use that actively.
It's totally optional, no real need to use it.
Cheers
