Hey everyone, I was wondering if it's possible to change the keyboard layout of my compal HGL30 to dvorak since I primarily use it. I'm talking about physically changing the keys. Can I do it? And what is the best way of doing this?

Actually, the keys do pop off of the keyboard, but you might want to just get some stickers to put on the keys, because it is very easy to damage the keyboard, and your warranty definitely would not cover that damage.

you can buy stickers to put on the keyboard for like 2 dollars off of ebay. That would be the easiest option.

If you mean changing the keys in hardware so that drumming your fingers produces aoeu instead of asdf, then no. I wouldn't bother with cosmetic changes.

I tried to go the dvorak route a while ago. Got up to about 60 wpm, and then gave it up because it was just too much hassle to switch back and forth, and to deal with applications that assume you've got a qwerty layout.
