    Hello,
I've got some problems with dynamic switching of the processor. I want it to be at high speed when it's plugged in, but it switches between 1Ghz and 2Ghz all the time making some troubles with games (especially in beyond good and evil, the sound ant the picture are not synchronised and i know that is the switching problem). I tried to set up the speed in NHC, tried some programs that usually fix this problem but nothing works.

I dont know if this is releated to your problem.

I have an 6615WD 2Ghhz, i dont have a problem with the cpu, but with the gfx card. Sometimes when i start World of Warcraft, it starts running at very low framerates. Its like the laptop hasnt notised that the power cord is connected.

But if i remove the cord and insert it again, the framerate shoots back up to where it needs to be.

I know this isnt an answer to your question, but i thought id write this anyway.

Cheers, hope you find out what the problem is.

First, about BG&E, the problem may not be the speed switching.

I've had the same problem (in the same game) because of refresh rate settings. Try messing around with your system refresh rate vs the game's refresh rate (set in the game config thingy). Raising or lowering the game's refresh rate fixed it for me.

I doubt the problem is dynamic switching though, because when running games, the CPU usually ends up running at 100% anyway. But one way to test it could be to run something like Seti@Home in the background, which makes the CPU run 100% all the time (runs at a lower priority though, so it doesn't slow your game)

May be worth a shot, although I'd try the refresh rate first.
