Today I noticed that the left button on the touchpad of my JFL92 no longer functions. I don't care all that much because 1) I never use the touchpad if I can help it and 2) the left-clicking effect can be duplicated by hitting the pad (the only thing I don't see how to do easily is select text, but since I almost always use a mouse, it's no big deal).
The machine is under warranty for the next 2.5 years, but there is no way I am sending it in over this. I don't even want to know how much it would cost to ship it from Switzerland to the USA and how long it would take to get back -- this is my one and only machine for both work and home so I can't give it up for more than a day. However, I'm curious if there is some easy way to get inside the touchpad (i.e. one that does not involve taking the entire computer apart). It may be that this is due to a loose cable or something else that is easy to fix, but I don't want to damage the laptop trying to find out.
Does anyone know how to open the touchpad up without messing with anything else?

Thanks. It looks like the touchpad is the 3rd from last thing they suggest removing, so I will just live with it as it is.
