    Hi all,

I have the same laptop coming from PCSpecialis in UK but their bios is often very locked down with low PL1 and PL2...

I was hoping to get my hands on the Eluktronics bios to have a bit more freedom in tweaking my laptop the way I should be allowed to.

So thanks for your help guys, BTW mine is the 2070 S version but I don't think that nakes a difference and they all have the same cpu...

Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks in advance,

    Zill

I contacted Eluktrinics support who said that their on working on uploading their Bios to their download support page.....

#####will come in handy as the PCS Recoil IV will most likely be locked down a lot

I’m thinking of getting the same laptop and spec from PCS. Have you bought from them before? I’ve always had Alienware.

    Hi James,

Yeah I've had mine for a couple of days now and I'm happy with it even though I'm coming from a much "cooler beautique" Razer Blade 15 Advanced RTX 2070 8750H

I absolutely loved the Razer, imo its the best looking laptop out there but I hd the battery bulging fear

PCS are a great company to deal with I bought my first laptop back in 2013 GTX 780 with modded bios lol (the good old days where you could bios mod, greatly miss that)
This is the thing the best looking laptops are just too locked down a system like the Recoil IV I have will be compatible with all the other Bioses for that laptop. On this you can undervolt the 10875H which is actually not as bad as I was expecting, OEMs often lock you out of undervolting...

The keyboard is a massive imporvent over the Razer, much better for gaming.

I wish it it had a mini DP, it has one but though USB-C thunderbolt.... not my preferred set up. We don'r get to have Eluktroboost with PCS but the 2070 Super awith the 115W is just great, coming from an RTX 2070 90W you wouldn't think so bu its a nice 10% 15% bump.

Basically, if you're like me and enjoy tweaking your system this is the one to get, if the Brand Status is important to you then maybe not, but this kills Alienware's 2070 Super laptops

    Hope this helps,
    Will

What do you think about Recoil IV sound quality of speakers compared to Razer?

Razer has way, way better sound quality speakers by a million miles.
