    Hey Fellow Nerds,

After watching BOAT's review of the new Eluktronics covert gaming Mech 15 G3, I was not surprised to see Eluktronics deliver once again a better bios with their system for enthusiasts to tinker with.

I have the exact same laptop except from PCSpecialist also with the RTX 2070 Super, and would really enjoy being able to adjust the pricey 3200mhz DDR4 Ram I paid for directly in the bios. Currently its locked down to the point where it will only run XMP profile 1 which is 2933mhz and I had to use XTU exclusively for that as there's no access to proper RAM tuning at all in bios.

Current bios I'm running is N 1.03 and ECC is 1.09 (this is on top of my head but pretty sure that's it)

I could do some more manual RAM Tweaking with XTU but no thanks, I just want to access and activate what's already on the SPD chip of the SO-DIMMs of my RAM sticks and maybe tighten up some sub timings if they allow to run voltage a little over 1.35v.

So if someone could kindly request the file from Eluktronics that would be ideal, I have already asked them but I'm sadly not a customer or if you can't get it fresh from Eluktronics it should be easy enough to do an extract and dump the binaries.

I would be eternally grateful if someone could do that not only for me but for all the half dozen (if not more) Mech 15 G3 / Recoil IV / Walmart / "insert OEM here" TongFang intel 10th Gen-RTX refresh owners around the world that are stuck like me with a locked down bios on an identical machine.

I'd be more than happy to be the beta tester and let you all know if you also need to go use Eluktronics's Control Center (Eluktroboost Beast mode or not my guess is it's probably the right way to go since Eluktroboost is optional) and confirm that everything works ok, and it I see no reasons why it wouldn't as these are the same machines.

I thank you in advance and can't wait to get my hands on a decent bios this chassis deserves.

Stay safe, frag on and keep on flashing. ;)

    Zill

Wow, thanks !! How do you know if this is also like the bios from eluktronics? Does it allow for RAM tuning ? I did a quick google search I can't see any specific bios pics...

But thanks again I'll definitely try it out!

I'm on discord right now talking to a XMG Rep asking him if their bios is "unlocked" or similar to Eluktronics's. He replied that the bioses come from TongFang and should be the same as Eluktronics, which is not the case... Yes TongFang sends them the same bios then each vendor chooses to offer or lock down the feature set...

I'm gonna end up on win-raid.com asking for help again...!

Also where is that mysterious 150W vBios for the 2070 Super? I don't think there is one tbh

    Humph!

Okay well please do let us know how you get on thanks. Do you think the cooling would be able to handle 150w bios flashed to the 2070 Super Max-P that would be awesome and outclass everything GPU wise. I'm tired of my big 8700K 5Ghz water-cooled tower. Time to get back into laptops. The 4800H and 10875H look like quite the beasts for laptops. Outclassing my desktop CPU.

@Zill , theres a guy on reddit named ooberjuice who has flashed bioses successfully , i stumbled across the reddit thread when i went digging for bios update on my model.
he flashed a july bios and no issues from what i read.
im not registered on reddit but would like for him to give a nice run down on his experience etc.

anybody here who knows ooberjuice on reddit can please ask if he will share his findings, experience with the bios please ?
