If you look at the spec sheet on
http://www.zepto.dk/Files/15_6224W_datasheet_1.0_ENG.pdf
you will see the following:
NVIDIA®Geforce®8600M GT (NB8P-GS) 512MB RAM
Either NVIDIA choose a very confusing short name for its 8600M GT component (calling it -GS) or there is some kind of mix up. So, which NVIDIA chip will be featured in the Zepto 6224? Will it be the 8600M GT or the 8600M GS?
Also, if I am not mistaken, the 3dmark06 benchmarks published for the Zepto 6225 showed a benchmark result of approx 3600 points at 1440x900. If my memory serves me right, that is approx 20% better than the go7700 at 1440x900. As many posters on notebookreview's forums have been indicating that the 8600M GT would achieve much higher performance than the go7700, is this not an indication that Zepto is using the 8600M GS and not the 8600M GT in its new laptops?

It has been said in another post by a representetive from Zepto that it is indeed a GT... about the results, they were made on a "prototype" driver, so hang in there, and it's still a good score
-
I second that - we've been told repeatedly its a GT and my receipt says I purchased a GT, so I fully expect to receive a GT (as that's what's been paid for!).
Petrov. -
Petrov,
I see that you have put in an order for a 6224. Can you confirm if the Intel Turbo Memory (or Robinson memory) is included in the system. Zepto has not responded to my query on this.

Mr black ninja your question has been put in motion. If there is ever something I cannot answer I have a great team of people to support me . Thats why some questions I reply to in seconds and some take hours
-
In a recent comparison, the 8600 got owned by the 7600
its nothing to write home about -
mm oh how about bluetooth, this is already included and not an addition option right?
...though it doesnt say on the factsheet... -

Here's the 7600/8600 comparison:

Of course, this is the desktop cards, but the portable cards usually follow the performance of their desktop bretheren fairly closely. -
You cannot compare the desktop equivalents with the laptops.
Read actual reviews of the 8600M GT instead and you'll see that it'll outperform the 7600go with 70% or more in 3DMark 06. -
Here's a comparison of 7600go & 8600M GT
8600M GT outperforms the hell out of 7600Go and also it helps when decoding H.264 Video -
Even 80% from what I've seen
