    Hello,

    I've got a nox a14 that I purchased just about a year ago from the US store and the motherboard on the unit died on me. Do you know if you are getting any more of motherboards? If not you mentioned that that US owners would get a discounted price for an upgrade. Is there a timeline to when more details will be revealed?

    I don't know you, but I still love you :)

    I bought a Zepto Mythos A15 and the keyboard and optical drive stopped working. Sooooo glad when you had the parts I needed to get it working again. Even though it is a danish keyboard instead of Norwegian (wikipedia tells me they are the same, and a black optical drive instead of a white one). Maybe I will now have a functional laptop again with some tinkering.

    I also ordered the P9500 cpu to replace my old P7350 which will be nice.

    Do you think everything will fit?

    The total was $517 + 25% + a fee since I live in Norway. Still, I am truly happy now. I just hope everything arrives in working order and that it fits.

    Even though $85 was a tad high for a keyboard. But I guess the free marked decides the price.

    So, it hapened. My 62324w doesn't work anymore. I think the grafic-adaptor died. Only shows everytime a differnt Pixel screen on Start. Think that the 8600 Problem? or?
    To the question. I think i Need a New motherboard. i See One in the zepto Shop for 250usd. Do you think that worth it, or Should i sell this Thing in Parts and get New One?
    Is the Board at the Store now avalible?

    Good news. Parts arrived at a warehouse in Europe. They'll ship it out this week.
    LCD inverters and CMOS batteries will be added to the website.

    Karsten Ree and the Head of management that where running Zepto, when it went bankrupt in Denmark, have started up i Ghana in Africa instead.....


    The bankrupt have had some rather annoying consequences for me, as I've had to get rid of my home mobile number of 12 years because old Zepto customers kept calling me on that after finding me on the Internet, and looking up my real name on the Yellow pages. I've had to delete my Facebook profile because old Zepto customers also started sending me friend invites and and support questions there. Also my girlfriend is nervous every time the door bell rings when we are not expecting visitors, because an old Zepto customer actually showed up at my home address at one point about 4 months back demanding that I fixed his computer as I was now responsible for helping now that there where no warranty on the product. .....

    Go figure. I've been nice helping but it have had some consequences I had not foreseen when I first started out helping people online. Just goes to show that customers (and Zepto customers in particular), are ruthless and break the sphere of privacy to get what they want. That's also why the Zepto download site has been taken down.... to clear Googles cache of my name on the download site before it is put up again.

    I don't get people who don't respect people's privacy. People are just plain stupid.

    I work at IT-support (both laptop and desktop computers) and people expect to get an answer to everything they want. Even stuff that have nothing at all to do with the product Im supporting. A few hours with me on the phone and the expences of the manufactor is just as high as the income they have on the product these days. Some people are just plain dumb.

    I can see that this is very annoying. But we are just co-operating with Zepto USA to receive our parts and if not, so be it. The financial crisis has it influences to everything. And I just want to thank the people that have been working on to give us support.

    Some information about Zepto USA. I ordered my spare parts in May and still haven't received it. The payment was done immediately with Paypal and they received it.

    After 2 months of waiting I started asking where my parts where, and they didn't know. Later they told me that the package had been lost while shipping and that they would send me a new one.

    We are now again 1,5 month further and I haven't received that either and they don't even react anymore on my e-mails. I'm scammed & screwed by Zepto, thanks.

    Typhke22, just to clarify you are having problems with Denned USA. Zepto has nothing to do with this anymore. They might still post as Zepto USA, but they do not work for or have anything to do with Zepto anymore. That stopped back in November of 2009.

    Well the Zepto in Ghana has nothing to do with the Zepto in Denmark.
    It might be the same people but it's a new company with the same name. When they made Zepto Denmark go bankrupt, any warranty stopped for existing customers. So no help from them, and there shouldn't be really. That's how cruel the world is when it comes to companies and bankruptcies.
    But yeah it truly is annoying seeing the company rise again in Africa. I've moved on though :D

    I made a thread about almost the same thing. It's still on the frontpage if you would like to see how dennedusa/ZeptoUSA deals with critcism. I luckily opened a dispute with paypal and got a full refund. I think it might be to late for that now since so much time has passed, but I still think you should contact paypal and inform them about it.
