I've recently acquired an Everex Stepnote T2052 secondhand. It appears to be the base model and I'm interested in upgrading the processor but before I do I wanted to make sure I would be able to.

CPU-Z shows it listed as an Intel Core Duo T2050 which is the lowest possible Core Duo socket 479. Since prices on Core Duos are practically pocket change now, I wanted to upgrade it to the 2.33 MHz model the T2700 which is the best possible Core Duo. I wanted to make sure that there would be no problems with this upgrade.

Any insights or comments are appreciated!
