    Hi All,
I have bought the Tongfang GK5C6X laptop and I have been having very very high idle CPU package power, I have removed the Bwin SSD as well that's known to cause high idle draw, even then I average around 15w with just edge open. I additionally have added a Crucial m.2 SSD and a Vertex OCZ SSD. Any idea what could be causing this and is there any application which can used to find out what apps/hardware are consuming power ?

Check task manager for something that may be using heavy resources.

Admittedly I had the same issue, I simply did a reinstall of win10 and a fresh start, because I didn't feel like troubleshooting it.

I reinstalled as well, its the same, I think its because I am connecting to an external monitor and I guess once external monitor are connected laptop only uses NVIDIA GPU and hence this power draw, I cant see anything else

The external display uses your gpu and raises pkg power by around 12.
