Hi, I'm thinking about purchasing a Averatec 4265 but have not noticed any mention of an optional extended battery for purchase like those offered by Dell and Sony.

I definitely need the extra battery life for staying mobile so I was wondering if Averatec even sells on or of an OEM manufacturer that does.

    Thanks for any help!

Averatec doesn't sell extended batteries for it and probably won't.

If you are looking for an inexpenive notebook with good battery life, I would look at the Compaq v2000 with the 12 cell battery. It will go at least six hours with a Pentium M CPU. Probably get one on HPShopping.com for under $1k. Good Luck.
