    I just got my FL90 and I'm trying to upgrade a couple of items.
    The first item is the wireless card: I'm going from ABG to 4965AGN. Could someone please explain about the three wires.... which one goes where?
    I'm also getting BROADCOM's Internal Bluetooth Module. Where is the best place to obtain the driver for this card? Should I get it from Compal or BROADCOM?

    Also, can someone help me with information about getting/install and the use of a TV Tuner Module for the same notebook.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank You,

    NR

    Always try Compal site first for the drivers. You may also want to get the installation manual from this site.

    The TV tuner is very easy to install, it goes over the WiFi card, it has two connectors (Cable and antenna) and are different so no way to confuse them. The WiFi cards is besides the CPU, just open the bigest cover in the back and you will see it.

    You can buy the TV tuner from; http://www.avadirect.com/product_details_parts.asp?PRID=9758

    Is very easy, they are two different cables, one is a flat connector and the other is not, they both go in the side of the card which face the edge of the laptop. See the picuture below;

    Hi Wirelessman,

    I've those hooked up (your pic). Are there any other connection that connect outside the case? The card came with several cables and an antenna.

    On the left side of the laptop next to the AC power plug is a tab or sticker shaped like a "8" laying down. Carefully peel it up and the ports for your s-video and antenna are located under it. I think they left it covered for people who aren't using the TV option.

    Sorry about that, yes on the right side. The "R" and "L" my mother wrote on the back of my hands needs to be rewritten or better yet, tattooed. The "8" is a sticky piece of plastic like a sticker. #3 on the picture of the right side.
