    hey everyone,

    seems like a lotta people out there want more info on the upcoming WX.

    Just spoke with Ivan earlier today while config'ing an MX for another coworker, and here's some prelim info he gave me on the WX.

    So here are the specs....(who knows...maybe i'll just have to pick one up so my MX doesn't get lonely!! :D :)

    I recalled that P1 will use a different screen? any idea if it's glossy? matte? or chooseable? noobish question, but what's UVA?

    Is the P1 WX an updated version of the MX, or is it an entirely new notebook with a different build?

    ^like stated above.. it's based on the W3V.. the MX that you see now is built on the Asus Z61.

    P1 finally has the new WX out, although its now using the name MX instead.

    Can anyone confirm the new MX model is indeed the expected WX model, but with a different name? It certainly sounds the same, besides the supposed extra 64 mb of additional shared memory on top of the dedicated memory, which I don't believe is part of the specs for the new MX model.

    ^it's the same thing.. the WX is basically just a configurable W3V. 64 dedicated and has the option of using system memory.
