Fairly small problem with the HEL80...anyone else have this?

I got my HEL80 laptop yesterday and I really love it. However, I have encountered one tiny issue. It seems sometimes when I turn it on the screen doesn't seem to work. Sometimes this lasts for a bit (10 seconds max) and sometimes it seems to go on indefinitely. I can semi-replicate the behavior by fiddling with the position of the screen latch when I turn the computer on, so I think it is related to that -- I haven't had time yet to systematically go about trying to replicate the behavior.

Anyone else seen anything like this with their HEL80?

    Sounds pretty wierd.

I haven't had that issue, but I had an issue with mine where if the screen turned off for power saving, it wouldn't come back on unless I closed it and opened it again. I went into the BIOS and changed the video to 'always LCD' and it hasn't been an issue. I suspect a video driver, though it could be the something in the firmware.

When I restart the computer the screen would be off for 3-5 seconds. I just took it as a cute little quirk. It doesn't seem to go any longer.
