I'm searching for a fan for the Zepto 6224w/6324w. I read somewhere that it might be built of a Compal barebone (rebranded) back when I was looking for a new keyboard for it. Does anyone know where I can find any matching fan? Official Zepto/unofficial or whatever doesnt matter as long as it fits reasonably.

    Any help is appreciated.

These notebooks were made by Inventec, not Compal, so parts are hard to find.

You may be able to get a heatsink / fan assembly here. However, it's not cheap.

John, thanks for your reply. Would you happen to happen to have a specific model name for the Inventec that its rebranded from?

My understanding is that these notebooks were specially made by Inventec for Zepto rather than being a rebadged Inventec model. Hence the scarcity of spare parts.

I found a fan on ebay (~$20) that according to the seller is supposed to fit this model, however, the model no. doesnt match which is why I'll refrain from linking to it until I've received it and can confirm that its a match.
