    Hi there,

I was wondering if there was a way to monitor or adjust how hard the fan is working in my 2092. It is a real nice lapper by the way i would recommend it.

    thanks

nvidia monitor. It only monitors the fan speed, i wouldnt recommand adjusting fan speed as it could damage your laptop.

Be careful, if the fan runs like that it is for a purpose.

Is it running fine or to loud, if so all the time or from time to time like when running games and or other rough apps.

It is supposed to run constantly but not at full speed: when idling I have to put my hand behind the vent and feel the hot air coming from the back to notice hit, it is inaudible even in a silent room ^^ And it is fairly silent even at full speed. My old laptop sounded like a high pitched jet engine like whine when running a full speed.

A jet engine, that's very loud indeed. My fan doesn't make that much noise but it's constantly running.

Something is causing the system to loaded, when this is going the CPU temp is going up and the fan is runnin more then normal.
I discovered when you use an Nvidia driver for the GPU, this is causing some heatup with the GPU this is also causing the system/cpu fan unit to detect the heat and to run more often.
So it can be caused by a software or dirver???

I know that, there many drivers running, but which one is the one causing it. I can remove one at the time using the control manager, but I don't have time for that.

No time yet, however I'm getting used to it, and it's not very noisy, I can hardly hear it, I think it goes faster and more noisy when running an application demanding more work from the video card.

Mine is very silent, starts running faster when playing games and the GPU is set to OC a little.
