    G'day ppl!

I was searching a lot of forums the last days to see if its possible to flash the Averatec 3200 BIOs with another BIOS than those provided by Averatec. The new Averatec BIOSes don't give me the freedom of trying out different settings either. So I won't go for them.

As I run "Sandra lite" on my cute notebook I recognised that i should be able to clock the FSB at 166Mhz but its only at 133Mhz. Both CPU (AMD M 2000+) and RAM (PC2700) should be able to support a FSB of 166. But there' no possibility to have those settings in the standard BIOS.

As the standard BIOSes @Averatec don't help me, I was thinking that maybe one of you has been crazy enough to try to flash the BIOS with another manufacturer's and can help with me some handy experiences here ... :p

The chipset is a VIA KM400 and its an AMI-BIOS. But that's unfortunately not enough information to flash the BIOS ...

    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Keep in mind flashing with a BIOS not provided by Averatec will likely void any warranty you have.
