    Hello there,
I wish to know if someone knows how to force the Zepto 6224w to be in max performance while you remove the AC.
When unplugged, the perfomance under battery is always getting slower.
Using the battery software with Windows XP doesn't work.
I checked the Bios and I didn't find anything.
I know there is this option on the AL Mx15, I think that for a gaming computer it should be able to use the GPU when on battery.
I plan to purchaze the 12 cells but if the computer gets slow when the AC is removed, there is no point.
Thanks in advance for your help :)!

What power profile are you using? Using the Balanced power profile will let the CPU adjust the speed according to the workload. The Power Saver profile locks the CPU in its lowest power state.

I have had problems in the past with my 6024W + Vista automatically dropping into the Power Saver profile when running on battery (and not changing back to Balanced when on mains power). These problems seem to have gone away.

Your GPU may also be automatically reducing its performance when running on battery. I expect there's a way to change this, but I don't know how.

    Thanks for your comments!

I downloaded the software Powerpack. Problem is that some options appear in grey. It looks like I can't modifiy some settings. How do you allow the GPU to be max on battery with the software?
Anyway there are good info provided witht the program so I think I will use it.
Still looking for a solution to play at full under battery though.
    Any other suggestion?
