    It's that time again, when I start expecting the next generation... I love my Compal and this is actually the only notebook forum I read.

    So, does anyone know what the future Compals will bring?
    I want a LED backlight screen and 5+ hours of battery in a <6.5lb 15.4"
    Actually I could go for a 14.1" 1440x900 (nothing less than that resolution).Of course with the newest Intel CPUs and chipsets coming out this year

    Nothing prevents you for buying another one ^^... I like mine because it give me the feeling of a desktop keyboard: It's a "real men" keyboard you need to apply pressure to type, not like the flimsy thing I had on my previous Acer even though I liked how it was curved :) .

    Well with my new BTO 15W26A+ (Compal JFL92) the keyboard is much better then the older one in my BTO 15W25A+ (Compal IFL90).

    I will try to see what brand it is and what part number i can find on the keyboard.
