    Games I'm looking forward to play on 6224W

    Well, I think, that those ordering a 6224W will be also playing games on the laptop, so maybe we can start this as a general thread for regering to games on the new Znotes regarding performance and also future discussion.

    Here are the games I'm looking forward to in the near future:

    Hellgate: London - Well this game for many obvious reasons like it looks way ****ing awesome plus I am an ex-Diablo addict. Also the 6224W is perfect because is is DX10 which Hellgate uses :)

    Spore - This game just looks awesome, possible the most ultimate sandbox-game ever to be concieved. If you haven't seen or heard of it google it and watch the etensive previews and presentations. Hopefully this will support DX10 too.

    Starcraft II - I was really hoping that Blizzard would announce Diablo III at their WWI, but with consideration I'm really exite about Starcraft II too. Also This leaves Hellgate, because I think I would drop it immediately if Diablo III came along.

    Here are the games I will install and start playing, on my free time that is, when I get my laptop:

    Galactic Civilizations II: Dreadlords + Dark Avatar - One of, if not the best, turn-based RTS games out there, specifically with future/space. Really cool game if you are interested with really long games which involve a really good AI.

    Rome: Total War - Never like the other Total War games because I wasn't so interested in their themes, but I love the entire Roman thing. Hope my Znote could handle it if I was to make large/huge unit sizes.

    Diablo II LoD - Yeah I still play it with mods :)

    Neverwinter Nights II - I don't really like turn-based RPG's but this game is really exceptional, I think, when it comes to story and characters. I hope I can run this game with high details on the 6224W.


    Well those are the main games I want to and will play in the future in my spare time when I get them :)

    Been playing Vanguard:Saga Of Heroes alot recently; first at 1920x1600 on a Dell XPS M1710 - Ran okayish; sold that... Currently playing at 1280x800 on my Sony Vaio FE41Z - Runs like a bag of spanners!
    Hoping my new Znote 6224W will blitz it at 1440x900 with full settings enabled; well here's hoping anyway...
    Anyone care to comment?

    Unreal Tournament 3, All Points Bullitin, Huxley all for the UE3 so i need something that can run it really well... i currenly have a 6214W so need to decide between 6224 or a desktop...

    Maybe you should consider a desktop at this stage now if you want to play UTIII with good details, also the other games.

    Damn, I forgot to add Company of Heroes and Dawn of War + all addons to my list. I just love those games ;)
