Does any one have any info on these computers? I have one and would like a repair manual. I can up grade the memory to 4 gig but when I pull the cover off where the memory is located there is only one so where the heck is the other one? My old CF-28 has one soldered in but spec say this one can go from 2 to 4 gig.
    It is a
    Itronix Go Book VR-2
It is designed to be a Toughbook like the CF-28 but not a tough and a lot lighter. The one I just bought had every thing newly install and came with Win7 and not Vista
Any help would be great before I just start removing screws and the company is not answering me back. :(

    Thanks

I'd go to the Panasonic forum here, this is where the rugged laptop knowledge base hangs out on these forums. There is a sort of subforum on other rugged makes there. And someone there can assist you. Hope you are successful, and get friendly assistance. Best wishes.

GD terminated the brand in 2013, so there may no longer be any support to contact. It is always possible that members of the toughbook community have dealt with those before. Sometimes there are DIMMs located under the keyboard, so the second one might be there.
