A local (Beijing China) Averatec salesperson yesterday claimed that Averatecs are covered by global warranty. I'm rather sceptical about the claims because there are not many Averatec outlets around the world, specifically, in Australia.

I'm thinking of buying one from China and taking it home to Australia. Can anyone in Australia tell me if Averatec exists there? Thanks.

Probably best to email Averatec. Or look on their web site see if they have a list of Distributors or Authorized Service Centers in Oz.

There is also an unofficial Averatec forum over at www.averatecforums.com
