Hi, I just bought my Znote 2425W which is configured to: T2400, 2GB Memory, 100gb 7200rpm harddisk..

I had a windows xp pro license so i didnt bought any windows with it. I installed my Xp then all the required drivers. I have some basic questions:

1- "Supervisor Password Is" set to "Set" and "User Password Is" set to "Clear" in the bios. i can change "Set User Password", and i changed it to blank, but i can not "Set Supervisor Password", it is disabled. The problem is everytime laptop boots, password is asked, which is blank (i just hit enter). How can i disable it?

2- The 7600go drivers coming with Compals Driver CD are some old, can i just install newest Forceware drivers?

3- Is there a way to remove "integrated camera enabled" icon from tray! :)

4- I hate when there is too many processes. Only after installing drivers, i have the processes that startup as shown in attachment (the ones that i didnt disabled because i dont know what are they / or it is good to disable them). Such as there is 4 processes start for wireless, which one of these i can disable?

5- I bought the laptop with the advises and guides from the users in this forum, i am very sure now it is a good choice, so thanks :)

About the processes, go to http://sysinfo.org, and for the tray icon right click the taskbar hit tray properties and you can select 'always hide'. (That might be wrong, I don't run windows.)

The drivers, isntall the newest ones, I prefer Omega drivers from http://omegadrivers.net
