Yesterday i ordered the FCB 15W26+, T9300, 4GB 667Mhz, 200GB 7200RPM which is basically the same as the BTO or compal version but this one is assembled by FCB (Friesland Computers Bergsma) with some minor differences (for example: i dont have the TV tuner)

When i got it and it is up and running i will let you guys know what i think about it, cant wait till i got it :) :D

Hi guys, im sorry to dissapoint you, but i've bought a dell xps M1530:

    Intel® Core™2 Duo T9300 (2,50 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 6 MB L2-cache)
    4.096 MB 667 MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2 x 2.048]
    NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 8600M GT with 256 MB (ddr3!)
    320 GB (5.400 rpm) SATA
Legal Windows Vista™ Home Premium - Dutch
    15,4-inch WXGA+ (1.440 x 900) TFT TrueLife™
    etc...
All this for € 950. Found some discount codes on the net, gave me a total € 350 discount :)
The reason I chosed dell is because it has a 1440 x 900 screen, not to big for gaming. a 1650 x 1050 takes a lot more resources. I know it's possible to play on a lower resolution, but I like to play LOTRO on 1440 x 900 without any black space. The graphics card has 256 mb ddr3 memory, which makes it faster then a 512 mb ddr2.
Also I wanted a legal windows vista, had some big problems with an illegal one.
Anyway, thanks for all your help!

Good for you, then you must go to the dell thread for questions and reviews, this folder is for Compals.

I just wanted you to know that in the dell thread people are more knowlegeable than us because they all have dell, so it will be more beneficial for you to be there. And although dell uses Compal mobo, your review would lack sense for us because is a dell configured and customized. Anyway, congratulations again and enjoy your new gadget :D

You can always come here for Compal questions.
