I got a 6224w and currently installed Nvidia_167.59_8600M_GT_Vista_32bit running vista. Though it has a major lack of performance contra the same machine running xp.

IS there a different vga driver i should install ? (direct link if posible, explanation)

    Thanks in advance :)

    I can recommend the 169.61
It's actually designed to desktops, but works great, just as the previous releases in the 169 series. Powermixer is enabled.

Download the driver, unpack, download the modded inf and replace the original. Install.

Just to let you all know. I'm currently using the 173.65 drivers. They appear to be the best I have tried just yet as they are giving me much lower temps and I've still got the performance I need.

Well.. the graphic card drivers works, but im kinda dissapointed by the fps rate (in wow) compaerd to when i was running xp.

whats the difference between 169.61 and 173.65 - and what does the numbers mean? (169 vs. 173 and others?)

    Thanks

The notebook driver versions are named differently compared to the desktop versions.
