    Hi, everybody.

It seems that noone had this problem before , otherwise people would have complained. So, I bought a brand-new Hannspree which came with an OS called Foxos or something like that which, of course, I wanted to replace with Win7. However, when I tried to do that ( I have already prepared a stick with Win7) Win7 told me that it cannot install on some un-NTFS partition which it seems my Hannspree is provided with. Actually there are 4 partitions and all of them are non-NTFS. The question is, how do I convert them into NTFS when I don't have Windows installed. Is there any possibility? I tried to install Win XP from USB but couldn't manage it. I would appreciate a fast reply because I'm thinking of returning it tomorrow if I'm stuck with the Foxos! Thank you very much.

When you boot from the win7 disk you should get options to partition and format the disk, couldn't you just delete the partitions, create one big partition and reformat?

You should be able to format the new partition, I don't know why it doesn't work for you, since I don't have that notebook.

But I was able to convert a drive from fat32 to ntfs even with a 15 year old notebook with a 1gb HDD, so it's really strange that you have this problem.

Convert FAT32 to NTFS is easily. Although you have carried out your problem, you also can take an eye on this topic to get more useful information. Perhaps one day you will need to convert NTFS to FAT32, at that time, believe that NTFS to FAT32 Converter can give you a hand.
