    I was thinking of ordering the majority of parts for a HEL30 separately since it seems to be cheaper that way. Other than the obvious fact that these parts would not be covered under any reseller's 3 year warranty, does any part of the plan seem "bad"?

    Total = $1290

    HEL30 $639.00

    The wireless card in the HGL30 is Mini-pciE(express) so the Intel 2915 wont fit. You need an Intel 3945( Intel PRO/WIRELESS 3945ABG ) or other Mini-pcie wireless card.

    Also you need a 2.5" (9.5mm) SATA (Serial ATA)HDD not a ATA one
