    HEL80 Dim Screen on First Boot

    I've had an issue with my Compal HEL80 for quite some time now. When I first boot the laptop after it has been powered off, the display is dim. A reboot of the laptop resolves the problem, but it's annoying to have to reboot. Anyone else having this issue?

    OS: Vista Business
    Video: NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600
    Video driver version: 7.15.10.9759

    A newer system BIOS seems to have resolved this issue. I upgraded from v119B to v123B.
