on my hel80 at the top right , i have a set of four buttons: One for checking mail, one for opening the web browser, and two buttons with a picture of a page with the numbers 1 and 2 above button 1 and 2 respectively. My user manual calls these four buttons "easy buttons" and the two last buttons "User Define" buttons, but it fails to give any information one how the user is meant to define them. googling around finds me one possible aplication that may help called "HotkeyDetective" but this aplication costs money, and i would quite like to define my "user define" buttons for free. Does anybody know how to do this.

(and on a further note, does anybody know if any software can be used to make use of the infrared reciever on the front of the HEL80 for those of us that dont have a tvtuner? If infact a reciever is present)

The application you need for those keys is called "sidewalker" from your installation CD.

As far as the IrDA port on the front, I asked Donald this a while back and his answer was No. What I was curious about though is if the port's circuitry is complete right now or now without the tuner... (I'm assuming not since I have no unknown devices, or basic IrDA drivers on my system). If it were infact bridged, you would probably have to write a custom driver for it. I was tempted to mess with, but with the re-org here at Intel and finals, and the holidays, I've just not had time to really give it a second thought.
