My three year and some old Compal HEL80 dropped from a low table on a soft mat. I thought that nothing bad happened since everything seemed to work. But after a while the display started to turn greenish and flicker. Like all black dots would have been green instead of black. Then I noticed that this happens only if I turn the display far enough from the keyboard. It looks like somewhere after 45 degrees the nasty behaviour starts. So, my guess it that there is something loose inside but what? I opened the body and could not find anything out of ordinary, so could the loose connection be at the display part?

    Any suggestions what to check?

Edit: Found this thread which seems to be about same kind of behaviour on IFL90: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=218849&highlight=green
