This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Has anyone installed Windows 7 on a Huawei Matebook X Pro??? Need help!

    Just got my Matebook, immediately pulled the factory SSD and put in a 970 EVO 1TB...

    This is what I have done so far...

    Turned off Secure Boot and used the current version of RUFUS to create bootable Windows 7 image using GRP partition and default settings.

    I get a Windows Error .... from the USB drive. Pic is below... taken from another post, but its the same error.
