For as long as I've had my hgl30 the left click on the touchpad feels like it doesn't have a spring in it. It still clicks if you push it down with a bit of force. Recently however I noticed that there is a little bit of an incline in the tiny plastic area between the button and the touchpad, and in the plastic to the left of the touchpad a bit too. My guess is that somehow the left click button was displaced and moved too far forward? I have no idea how touchpads are built so don't know if that's a reasonable assumption or not. Is this the sort of thing that could be fixed easily? Or should I send it in for warranty service? Anyone else ever had this problem?

Sounds like the button may be misaligned. The two buttons on my HEL80's touchpad click rather easily.

I'd give your tech support a call. They should either be able to walk you through a quick fix or set up the needed work for you.

    Good luck.
