My camera started doing this odd thing whenever the computer would awake from stand by. A dialog box would open, asking which application to view the image in (photoshop or micrsoft windows photo and fax viewer). However I never ask it to open any picture, and when i choose an option it just boots the program and no picture. VERY ANNOYING. So i uninstalled the driver and software and updated it. Now instead of the dialog box all that happens is photoshop boots up. Even more annoying since that takes forever. I know its the driver or software becuase when i uninstall those nothing happens. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!!

Have you tried reinstalling Photoshop? Updating it? Trying different combinations of installing the camera driver first, then Photoshop and vice -versa? Does your version of Photoshop automatically try to get pictures off of a camera when you plug it in? Is starting up Photoshop the default behavior for windows when you plug in a camera? If so, maybe when you come out of standby, Photoshop thinks you just 'plugged in' the integrated camera, and then pops up.

I know those are sort of general solutions, but no one else has ever posted a problem like that, so it could be some other programs/settings you have installed.

    Sorry I can't be more helpful :(
