Hello everyone i wonder if you guys would be abble to help me...
thing is i have my laptop for like a year now... and once i was playing COD4 on best graphics ( with a pluged monitor) my laptops screen went all rainbowy and then black... and now it`s like dead (and cant find pluged monitor), but computer works i can log in and stuff but cant see a thing. i was thinking that if couse video cards fault, but dont wanna rush buying a new graphics card... Any ideas what might be wrong with it? i dont realy understand laptops from inside![]()

Try to press and hold FN Key on the left bottom corner and press afew times F3 at the same time .

I just tried that, but unfortunetly no success... anyway big thanx for a reply. i`m pretty much desperate couse my laptop has broke on me just i joined a college and having a financial problems...

If your laptop still works on an external monitor that means the graphic card is fine and it's only a software problem.

If it still boots up, but won't display anything (not even to an external monitor), your video card is dead.

thx, well i dont wanna be a pain in a neck but if anyone knows a websites where i could order geForece go7600 and it would be delivered to UK, couse i couldnt find anywhere, i wount stop looking theugh but links would help
P.S what is the best graphics card that can be installed into a gl30? -
You can scrounge around on Ebay, I suppose. I don't think the video card can be upgraded. You might try uk.zepto.com -- I know they sell Compal laptops, they probably would be able to get you a replacement video card.

So i`v started to look for a graphics card and asked myself... mine is
go7600(256mb) and i was thinking if i could install go7600gt(256mb of if there is 512mb) would it be possible that my motherboard would support it?
