    HGL30 Touchpad problem in Ubuntu

    I have a dualboot Windows XP/ Ubuntu setup and am getting some really strange behavior from the touchpad in Ubuntu. Sometimes the cursor will move very erratically, randomly moving (usually to the right edge of the screen) and doing the equivalent of a left click or double click. It's a real pain.

    Is there a better driver available for this touchpad in Ubuntu?

    I know it s not the same laptop. But I had no such roblem with the hel80 in Kubuntu.
