I'm currently trying to install Windows XP on my HEL80, but the installer seems to have stopped during "installing devices". But how can I do a hard reboot without unplugging the battery? Cause I hear that's very bad for the battery, to remove it while the system is on.

Please help me out quickly :p

Hold down the power, that should do the trick.

Alternatively, insert the power cord, then remove the battery, then remove the power cord.

Yeh, looks like I wasn't pushing the Power button long enough. Seems like I have to press it a whole lot longer than on the desktop computer...

    Thanks for the help.

What version of Windows XP are you installing? Does it have Service Pack 2 slipstreamed? XP won't run with SATA drives until you have service pack 2 at least.
