    As above,

I will soon be taking delivery of a 6224W with no OS and can't decide which to install. I will probably go for Vista, but which version, 32 bit or 64?

Does anyone here have any experiences with driver compatibility issues etc they can share? It would seem that most games now have 64bit patches so not too worried about this.

    Thanks in advance

Okay, no replies so I have not taken the risk of non-compatibility with 64bit Vista, now ordered 32bit Ultimate Vista.

    hehe.. havent seen the post...
but there is no problems with vista 64bits..
Im running it, and have no problems, not even with games...
dont think its to late to call/mail zepto and change your vista to 64bits if you want to...
If you use cad/matlab/comsol etc, 64bits is better then the 32bits.. i use matlab a lot and the calculations are faster with 64bits....

    good luck
    /makaveli

edit: all the 64bits drivers you need are on the Zepto-driver CD.....

    Cheers Makavelli,
Good feedback. I am going to provide the OS myself, as I prefer to load it to my preferences with partions to my choice (and it is cheaper!) . I've already bought 32 bit OEM, but after your post I'll probably swap for 64bit. My 6224 should have been delivered yesterday, but I won't see it until 5th October as I am working abroad until then, so plenty of time for anyone else to post about any potential problems with 64bit.

    Thanks again

Just looked at that link, and they say the 64bit upgrade DVD is only available for retail version. I have OEM.. wonder if I will still be able to upgrade. Was your 32bit retail or OEM with the Zepto?

That's cool Makaveli, I just ordered mine too. I had a retail version but downloaded from MSDNAA website and burnt onto fragile CDs, now I'll have a good copy less prone to get scratched !
