Hi, I have a Compal laptop with an Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo P8700 CPU, Compal's JHL90 motherboard, Comal BIOS version 1.13, 4GB DDR2 RAM, with an NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT video card.

I would like to overclock the CPU, either through the BIOS or a software utility like Clockgen. Has anyone had any success overclocking any CPU with a JHL90? If so, how did you do it?

(BTW I know overclocking is warranty-voiding and done at one's own risk! Don't worry)

I think that's only possible if you find the PLL number.
