    Hello all :)

I am going to visit Hong Kong soon and I am checking if I can find some laptop at cheaper price.

I found this but I don't know if the company is reliable.

    http://www.hasee.com.hk/product_info.php?products_id=64&osCsid=55ivdfgmhso1dvhtf0pujrgj32

The cost should be around 410 euro (640 $) and for that price here in Italy I didn't find anything comparable.

My typical usage would be for: (open)office applications, watching movies(and I think that gpu would be better than the common X3100),browsing internet, no games.

I guess it comes with a matte display (which is a must for my sight) but not sure of that.

Does anybody have any experience with Hasee laptops and this in particular ?

    Thank You

    Bye! :)

I think they are building them from uniwill barebones. I would consider it to be a huge risk to buy a notebook of such quality and reputation in HK without having chance to use the warranty. Better use your stay there to purchase smth more reasonable. For example, I am in possession of the native Chinese 10" subnotebook Amoi T31 (as a second notebook) and I am very happy with it.

This shop sells Hasee notebooks in Germany (and also in France, I think):

Ok, thank you, I already had doubts, I think I will not buy Hasee then :)

Does Amoi produce also bigger (14" or 15") laptops ?

I tryed to check the www.amoi.com site but the Notebook section seems empty

I would actually recommend to consider Benq: it is operating on the pacific market and produces really good quality notebooks for the money.

Amoi used to produce 14-15" notebooks, too.

Ok, I will check for Benq when I arrive in HK then :)

I also found a cheap offer here in Italy for an HP 6715s at about 380 euro (around 630 $) so now I am considering this one first, because in this case I will have warranty

... and Italian keyboard and Windows (though, I prefer US English in any case).

    I'll tell you my experience:

I live in Beijing and I regret having bought a Hasee laptop. Only one year after I bought it, a small piece inside the computer broke and no one could fix it because it was very difficult to buy a replacement piece. It took me more than 1 month until I found a dodgy repair guy that was able to find the piece for the laptop. And the piece - where the VGA port is located - was unbelievingly expensive.

Until it broke I thought I had made the perfect buy because it was small and cheap although a little noisy but I should have listened to my Chinese friends not to buy anything from this brand because of its cheap/bad quality. Now besides the bad quality I can add poor after-sales customer service...

This happened in China were the computers are made, imagine if anything happens to your laptop in Europe! Don't buy a Hasee, in the end they are not as cheap as they seem.
