So I purchased my laptop a couple months ago, and just recently a bought a 22 westinghouse monitor (it was on sale for 200) It has come to my attention that the DVI output looks SIGNIFICANTLY better than VGA. I didnt think about this when I was purchasing my laptop. So I have a compal with a VGA output. My question is, is there a docking station or port replicator or ANYthing I can use to get DVI out on my laptop so I can use it effectively with my monitor? Thanks for your help!

I've heard that there are ExpressCards with DVI output on them. Check into that. I don't have one myself.

There isn't one out with DVI(Expresscard slot that is), though there, with various other things, had speculation about it.

So unfortunately, you're out of luck with the HEL80.

Doh. Not just a card, but there's this, which should be available to buy somewhere, and it'd fit his requirements ;)

Unfortunately DVI just isn't very common in notebooks these days. Especially in 15.4" systems.
