I currently have the Compal HEL80, I have been having poor performance with games with the drivers provided for me on the CD that comes with this laptop from powernotebooks.com, so I decided to try installing more recent drivers. When I tried installing new drivers from laptopvideo2go.com I received this error message right after the nvidia screen loads. "The NVIDIA setup program could not locate and drivers that are compatiable with your current hardware setup. Setup will now exit. " I then tried uninstalling my drivers then installing the drivers after a system reset, but I received the same error. I have tried installing the following drivers, all with the same message: 97.92, 91.63, 86.56, 84.25, and 84.69 . The sooner you can get me up and running again would be much appreciated. Please if you can do not have me resorting to the original supplied drivers, the more recent the better. Thanks for your help. Also, I received this error with the drivers supplied by NVIDIA on their website.

You need to download the corresponding modified INF from laptopvideo2go and copy it over the INF in the setup package. It should work

Could you describe the poor performance with the stock drivers? I am still on stock drivers and have not experienced anything like that in games.
Make sure to follow Bender's suggestion. There is more detailed information in the Gaming Forum sticky about updating Video Card Drivers. I believe laptopvideo2go's FAQ also have pretty good instructions to follow as well.
