Hello,
I used the search function but could not find it again. A few days ago I saw an HEL80 review on here with images that a guy had the glossy screen. If anyone has the link to that one itd be appreciated![]()
Also, if I only order 1GB ram, how hard would it be to stick in another 1GB in the future?
Thanks,
Steven

Here is the link I think you are talking about. It is very good and very accurate.

Stevonio:
The review PieceOfChum linked to shows the WXGA+ (1280x800) glossy screen. If you don't like that screen, you might like the WSXGA+ (1680x1050) matte screen. Here are two more reviews that might help:

Also take a look at the PowerNotebooks website. There is a ton of info there including pix, specs and everything else you might need.
Good luck! -
There's one more review here at NBR in my signature if you're still looking--it also links to the other 3 HEL80 reviews here at NBR.

Greetings all,
Yep, im getting the HEL80, just wanted to see how the glossy screen looked again, and the Matte seems better.
If I get 1GB ram stick, and want to add 1GB more later on - is it easy to install? (and does it matter if its not same brand?)
Thanks! -
In the most recent issue of PC Gamer they reviewed the Velocity micro version of the Hel80.. it got an 81% from them. I think it should get a bit more, but they said the gpu was a bit bottlenecked.
I recently installed a 1 gb stick of ram (already 1 gb in), and it looked daunting but was actually easy. There are two slots for it... all you have to do is unscrew the screw, pull open the lid (dont worry about breaking it like i did), then just stick it in at an angle to the slot, and push down until it snaps into place. If you get same brand, you get dual channel support. It's just faster... try getting same brand as much as possible.
