    I guess this is Movita C600 type 630. Should be equipped with SiS630 chipset, 800MHz P-III and 20Gb HDD

    i got it working, i guess the middle pin is (one of those round once) + and ring -, and i was right. hacked windows isos and debian detects everything perfectly, even fn-key works.

    now i only have to find a battery that fits. but the battery, this i have no info for, could it be a 18v battery?

    Any single-pin charger socket is designed this way. + in the middle and - on the outside ring. The reason I asked for the photo was that some laptops used to come with different 3-pin or 4-pin sockets (like old Dell, for example)

    About battery. I've seen a couple of German websites selling a wide range of spares. Are you from USA? Coz I don't know their shipping policies.
