    Help please.......Brother Laptop!!

    hi have just picked up a brother laptop from a auction and i am trying to get it to run i have found out the charger was faulty so i have rectified this and the battery has power but when i press the power on i get no screen and on display on the bottom it is showing a Light bulb symbol and a tap symbol with a drip?.....Could anybody explain what these faults could be

    I don't know what your problem is but it might be that you have the screen not working check the screen

    like someone mentioned, i would try hooking up an external monitor to your laptop to see if it displays anything. if it does, then some lcd part is faulty. if nothing displays, it is most likely that your video card is malfunctioning.
