Hello there i'm currently interested in purchasing a 6625w for myself for christmas.

Now i have a few questions as this being my first laptop purchase, i'm currently at university studying a games design course and i want buy a laptop to make everything easier for myself, i use programs such as 3d studio max, photoshop, virtools and am a pretty avid gamer.

I was thinking of purchasing a 2.0ghz instead of 1.66 and then upgrading the memory later on as i cannot afford to at the moment, but reading a topic in the forums i was wondering if it is actually worth it, im usually running multiple programs at any one time usually with itunes in the background as well.

Any help or suggestions are much welcome.

well im running 1.83 T7100 and 2GB ram, 3d programs goes smooth and im playing BF2 PR (PR is much heavier than original BF2) with framerates of around 60 (oh vsync on :D). Im planning on buying a new 7200rpm hdd for it to get the loading times even shorter, not to say boottimes.
And for 3d the 6625wd is awsome, the screen is just so awsomely sharp and bright.
