    Hgl30 + 116a?

    I recently had problems with my laptop overheating and shutting down randomly so I had decided to upgrade to the version 116A to correct for fan idle speed.

    I then installed NHC and uninstalled RMClock. Since then I am now having 2 issues.

    1. battery life went from 3hrs down to 1hr (maybe attributed to not undervolting but i cannot find the tutorial anymore)
    2. after hibernation, my cpu fan doesnt kick on automatically. I have to blow in the vent on the bottom to get it started spinning again.

    has anyone else experienced anything similar or is it just coincidence?
