actually, this is a Clevo D470K

if pics don't work, google it. It's definitely it.

This notebook is no longer "powerful" in today's standards. Clevo's current 17" models use ATi x800, Nvidia 6800 and 7XXX series now.

That laptop uses older technology - I'd try to get a newer one with PCI Express and a newer chipset - the Xpress 200M is currently the best AMD chipset for notebooks.

Wow, that sure is one heck of an advertising explosion.

"the most spectacular, desirable and full featured 17" WSXGA PC super-notebook ever designed"
"Radically overcoming the shortcoming of 32 bit computing..."
    (I guess they need a better copy-editor)
"Don't ask us how we did it, but for the first time in a laptop, we manage to crunch a total of 5 ultra high fidelity speakers PLUS a Subwoofer for the most extraordinary multimedia experience of your life."

    All those mouse-over photos...

Don't get me wrong, I like some in-depth explanation of the features if I'm shopping for a computer on-line. This, however, looks like an advertising snow-job put together by the masterminds behind late-night infomercials.

"Are you too stupid to use a broom? Then you need our special, European-designed, 100% hypoalergenic SuperBroom(tm)! Only seventeen easy payments of $9.95! (plus $24.95 shipping and handling)"

But WAIT, there's MORE! If you call now we will include this fully-integrated hyper-sensitive pointing device! For the first time ever, you can use your finger to move and on-screen virtually-rendered finger!
