Ive been noticing some slight smudges on my screen, so far ive been using a tissue and applying some force to remove them from my screen, but i dont want to dmg it. Also whenver i open up my notebook, i see dust threads on it, im assuming this is from the static that they are attracted, just wanted to know in general how everyone deals with this, thanks.

Microfiber/lens cleaning cloths work great. You can get 'em at your local eye-glasses store.

Here's a nice thread about cleaning your screen. Most people go with a microfiber cloth like the ones for cleaning eye glasses.

Cleaning with a tissue will scratch your screen...better to read the thread linked to above for better methods.
