I'm curious what you folks think of CyberPower PC and does anyone have the ZeusBook Edge X6? I know of one person but he hasn't received it yet and pretty disappointed with their late shipping of his laptop.

One thing that had me grumbling a bit is that the unit didn't actually come with any optical drive. The unit seems to be advertised as having one natively, but the unit that was shipped just has a faceplate attached. I emailed this issue to Cyberpower support and they offered to "sell" me one once they received it in stock in about two weeks.
I believe that the earlier comments are correct - the unit is a Gigabyte P35W v2 ( GIGABYTE - Notebook & Netbook - Notebook & Netbook - P series - P35W v2) and then Cyberpower customizes memory, hard drive, etc. based on customer request. I topped my unit off with 16Gb of RAM and a 500Gb Samsung 850pro SSD.
The unit seems very nice - I'm not one that buys notebooks that often so it's hopefully one that will last me for a long while.
Some comments:
-) While the unit is labelled as a 15.6" styled notebook, the actual surface area seems to be larger, more akin to a 16-17" notebook in terms of surface area. The bezel around the LCD panel is big, though the unit overall is still pretty narrow in height
-) The unit came with Windows 8.1 pre-installed with very little bloatware - that was nice
-) Windows was not activated and I did have to enter an activation key (from the MS sticker on the bottom of the unit) to get it to activate successfully
-) The unit did come with a Windows 8.1 install disc. Though from my earlier comments, I don't have an optical drive to install it with
-) I did install a few Steam games and the audio seems pretty good. I'm not an audiophile though, so I'm not sure how to go about "testing" it other than just casual listening
-) The keyboard is something I'm going to have to get used to. The keys are "chicklet" style but they're a bit slippery, so my fingers tend to slide on them while typing.
This was an upgrade to an Acer 8940g unit that I bought about 5 years ago. That older unit had an 18" screen @1980x1080 and the clarity on that panel was pretty good. One thing I've noticed with the new unit is that often-times many windows have a "hazy" look about them, rather than things appearing as sharp as on my older laptop.
If there's any software/benchmarks that anyone would like me to run, let me know.
Thanks,

Thanks for the comments. Let me know what you think after using it for a few days and can you run 3DMarks and post the results? Also, let us know the temps you get under full CPU load and GPU temps and does the system ever throttle. So it took nearly 3 weeks to arrive? I know some on on this board that is still waiting for theirs. Sad to hear there is no built in cdrom. Can you put another HDD in the cdrom bay? Can you post some pictures of it and without the bottom cover since I'm curious to see the insides of it.
$299 for an extra 1 yr warranty is a major rip off. I would consider getting it if they lowered the price. That is if I end up with the CP ZeusBook Edge.

@rahmant,
How's the temps so far and is it worth it?
