    Hello hello!

I bought a Zepto 3215W laptop without Windows or anything installed. I tried to install XP but the computer tells me there's no hard drives installed. So as a total newbie regarding installing this kind of stuff I could use a bit help. I didn't get any CD with the computer where hard drive installation files should be (I guess). Is there any site on the internet where I could find the installation files and burn the files to a CD for example.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Boot your computer and push f2 while the phoenix logo appears.

Now with the arrow keys move to the tab advanced.
Change the option AHCI to disabled. Push f10 and choose yes and voila.

Reason for this is that the 3215 isn“t sold with win Xp so the default settings is enabled.
You can read more about AHCI here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahci

Also make sure that your windows xp version has atleast service pack 2.

    Have a nice weekend :)
